As you'll see, these distros commit only to use and recommend free software. All these distros software and are thus approved by the Free Software Foundation.[/p] Foundation. The only exception is Debian GNU/Linux which is not approved by the FSF. It, however, can be used for testing hardware if you make sure that only free software is used.
