This device features Atheros AR9271 chipset. The required firmware for this device is free software. The firmware is already packaged for Parabola as ath9k-htc-firmware, which is a dependency of linux-libre-firmware. The firmware can be obtained from https://github.com/qca/open-ath9k-htc-firmware/ for other distributions. (tested on debian 8)
