This is not a souncard, but a HEADSET (headphones + microphone) connected to the PC via USB. It offers an intermediary pad on the connecting wire, that contains VOLUME+, VOLUME- and MUTE buttons. The pad works, but no sound is heard in the headphones or picked up by the mike.
