The printer is detected perfectly and works out of the box in Trisquel 5.5.

Simple Scan program included with Trisquel 5.5 works fine with this printer out of the box.

In my opinion, real disadvantages are as follows:

- the printer takes paper and obviously tilts it little bit (about 1 degree);

- the printer does not take paper from the front tray good enough; sometimes, it does not take it at all;

- scanning is not perfect; the quality of image is not sufficient neither in b/w nor in color mode; the impression is like the glass of the scanner is not clear or the lamp is too weak.

Generally, price/quality of the product is relatively good and I have been using it in home for insignificant purposes. I am sure, it is not perfect for business.
