Description:

Experiment support for the Canon PIXMA iP2820 was added in version 5.2.11 of Gutenprint. This version of Gutenprint first appeared in Debian 9 Stretch and Trisquel 8 Flidas.

Why only a 'B-Partial' rating:
  • Anything below ~16mm from the bottom of a Letter size page gets consistently cut off in my tests. I can print as close as 4mm to the left and right sides of the page and as close as ~3.5mm to the top of the page.
  • Ink level reporting does not work.
  • This model is only experimentally supported by Gutenprint.

According to the printer test page the PPD file in use is STP00079.PPD.
