I tested this with Trisquel 5.5 which was installed on a pen drive. The laptop worked fine exept that it had the same screen brightness problem as Eee PC 1005PE (easy to fix) and, for some reason, the keyboard layout was not detected correctly. I had to use a USB keyboard to write this report. Reboot did not help.

Due to the keyboard problem, I report this laptop as C Silver, but it would be A Platinum otherwise.
