The only thing which doesn`t work is the brightness control shortcut Fn+UP/DOWN arrows. To change the brightness, use the command
# setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=XX
with XX from 00 to ff -- for more information, see lspci(8):
$ man 8 lspci
Also, if you use laptop-mode, the following should mostly work in /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/lcd-brightness (replace XX, YY and ZZ):
CONTROL_BRIGHTNESS=1
BATT_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND="setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=XX"
LM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND="setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=YY"
NOLM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND="setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=ZZ"
BRIGHTNESS_OUTPUT="/dev/null"
Setting the brightness to "00" will likely shutdown your screen.
