I'm not totaly sure for 3D acceleration, I believe it work (and well, like the rest), but I can't tested. The same for BIOS, version installed from factory isn't free, but I suppose can change it with a Libre version.
If run on Win, need swiching from UEFI to EFI mode, for read/install a Gnu-Linux distro from usb. That's all!
