    On Trisquel/Ubuntu the mixer sound is not working correctly see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tvtime/+bug/650693

    In order to make it work use: 
    tvtime --mixer=hw:0/Line

    This TV card works fine using TVtime if I select France as the region. I also did the following (as suggested in ubuntuforums.org): 
    sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134

and added:
#flyvideo
options saa7134 card=3 tuner=39 gbuffers=4

sudo gedit /etc/modules

and added:
saa7134 card=3 gbuffers=4
