Objectives:

The h-node project aims at the construction of a hardware database in order to identify what devices work with a fully free operating system. The h-node.org website is structured like a wiki in which all the users can modify or insert  new contents. The h-node project is developed in collaboration and as an activity of the FSF.

Contribute:

You can contribute by creating an account at h-node.org and editing its user-generated contents. All your modification will be saved in the history of the product you are editing/adding. Each revision (the current one or the old ones) will be marked by the name of the user who created it.
You can also contribute by suggesting new hardware that should be added to the database or features that should be implemented.

Free software:

You are allowed to add only devices tested with GNU/Linux distributions that are considered fully free, according to the Free Software Foundation definition of free software (you can find the list of the fully free GNU/Linux distributions in the help page).

License:

Any text submitted by you will be put in the Public Domain (see the CC0 page for detailed information). Anyone is free to copy, modify, publish, use, sell, or distribute the text you have submitted to h-node.org, for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and by any means.

About the h-node.org website:

The h-node.org has to be considered in beta version. It is constantly growing and many features have not been implemented yet (for example new hardware devices have to be inserted in the database). Some problems may occur: if you find out a bug please add an issue here with the topic maybe a bug.

Le but du projet h-node est de créer une base de données de matériel afin d'identifier les dispositifs qui fonctionnent avec un système d’exploitation entièrement libre. Le site h-node est structuré comme un wiki, dont tous les utilisateurs peuvent modifier ou insérer des contenus. Le projet h-node est développé en collaboration et en tant qu'activité de la FSF. Vous pouvez contribuer en créant un compte sur h-node et modifier le contenu créé par les utilisateurs. Toutes vos modifications seront enregistrées dans l’historique de l’élément que vous modifiez ou ajoutez. Toutes versions (l’actuelle ou les précédentes) seront marquées au nom de l’utilisateur qui les a créées. O projeto h-node tem como objetivo a construção de um banco de dados de hardware, de forma a permitir a identificação dos dispositivos que funcionam com um sistema operacional totalmente livre. A página Web do h-node.org é estruturada na forma de uma wiki, onde todos os usuários podem modificar ou inserir novo conteúdo. Ele foi desenvolvido em colaboração e como uma atividade da FSF.

Contribuições:

Obiective:

Scopul proiectul h-node este să construiască o bază de date cu aparatură pentru a ajuta la identificarea dispozitivelor ce funcționează cu un sistem de operare complet liber. Situl h-node.org este structurat ca o pagină wiki în care toți utilizatorii pot face modificări sau pot adăuga conținut nou. Proiectul h-node este dezvoltat în colaborare și ca o activitate a FSF.

Contribuiți:

Puteți contribui prin crearea unui cont la h-node.org și editând conținutul generat de utilizatori. Toate modificările voastre vor fi salvate in istoricul produsului ce îl editați/adăugați. Fiecare revizie (curentă sau mai veche) va fi marcată cu numele utilizatorului ce a creat-o.
Puteți de asemenea să contribuiți sugerând aparatură nouă ce ar trebui adăugată în baza de date sau funcționalități ce ar trebui implementate.

Programe libere:

Pentru a adăuga un dispozitiv în baza de date h-node trebuie să verificați dacă funcționează doar cu programe libere. Pentru asta trebuie să rulați :

1) O distribuție GNU/Linux ce se află pe lista FSF cu distribuții aprobate.

2) Debian GNU/Linux doar cu depozitul principal (main) activat. Depozitele "contrib" și "nelibere (non-free)" nu trebuiesc activate atunci când testați aparatura. Verificați acest aspect rulând în terminal comanda apt-cache policy. Singurul depozit cu pachete ce trebuie să apară activat ar trebui să fie cel principal (main).

h-node listează doar aparatura ce funcționează cu piloți liberi și fără microcod neliber. Alte distribuții GNU/Linux (sau Debian cu depozitele "contrib", "nelibere (non-free)" și alte terțe depozite activate) includ fișiere cu microcod neliber, așa că nu pot fi folosite pentru testare.

Licența:

Orice text trimis de voi va fi plasat în Domeniul Public (vezi pagina CC0 pentru informații detaliate). Oricine este liber să copieze, modifice, publice, folosească, vândă, sau să distribuie textul trimis de voi la h-node.org, în orice scop, comercial sau necomercial, ș prin orice mijloace.

Trebuie luat în considerare că h-node.org se află în stadiul de versiune beta. Este în continuă creștere și multe funcționalități nu au fost încă implementate (spre exemplu : noi dispozitive trebuie adăugate în baza de date). Pot apărea și anumite probleme: dacă descoperiți un defect vă rugăm să-l raportați aici cu subiectul maybe a bug ( posibil un defect ).
