yes
free driver used:
rtl8187
Description:

Everything works out of the box with 100% free kernels.

Note: Another user describes a slow and inestable internet conexion with free driver rtl8187, compared with ndiswrapper+winXP drivers. Tested with kernel 2.6.38, distro Trisquel 5.0.

Works with Guix System with the 5.4.27-gnu Linuk kernel, but the performance is very poor. A second adapter I had to compare could validate Internet speeds of 15 Mbps while this RTL8187 adapter (the one shipped with an Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard) could barely sustain 1 or 2 Mbps.
