Seems to requires a non-free firmware (as of 2011-02-20). Firmware download is officially for RT28XX/RT30XX series, but the RT3070 and RT3370 share the same driver, so I'm assuming the RT3370 has a similarly restricted firmware.
In addition, reports module license as 'unspecified' to kernel, causing kernel taint, along with the following:
[11846.791902] rt3070sta: module license 'unspecified' taints kernel.
