does 3d acceleration really work?

hi risciatom, 3d acceleration on ATI cards should not work with free software.. can you please write in the device page the free driver you have used? Have you tested if compiz works?

I am sorry, but I do not have that information. I am a volunteer for the Free Software foundation and I am moving http://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:Hardware/Directory_Migration#to_move to h-node.

Anyway, ATI cards work with free software but without 3d acceleration.. We can assume this is true for all the ATI models so you can set "works, but without 3d acceleration" for each ATI card you will insert.. thanks again
