Test result:
[p]The following test result was collected [p]Test conducted in August 2013. Trisquel 6.0 LiveCD would liveCD could not login to its live desktop environment. Use environment, automatically logout back to login screen. After netinstall instead in order to install the system. Even with the up-to-date kernel and drivers from the official repository, the login screen would not appear after the installation. Just it shows only a black screen. screen at startup. It seems the system would not failed to switch to VESA driver automatically. Use Must use another display card (Intel/AMD) to install boot the system and upgrade to a newer kernel (3.10.5-gnu) (3.10.7-gnu) and nouveau driver (1.0.9) 1.0.9 in order to make it work. gNewSense 3.0 LiveDVD worked but it was using VESA driver. Compiz and OPENGL does did not work with mesa 9.2-devel and 9.3-devel, fallback to metacity window manager to display 9.3-devel.[/p]
