This card is supported by radeon but requires non-free firmware.

Screen sizes like 1680x1050 are supported, it's possible to play low quality videos but 720p playback is not guaranteed. It worked for me with a 2.6Ghz processor but it sometimes freezes. Of course, no 3D and 2D acceleration is possible. I wasn't able to run Compiz.
