I tested this laptop with Trisquel 5.5 live-USB ped drive. It had only one problem, but it was easy to fix.

The keyboard did not work properly. It seemed that the blue Fn-function button functionality was messed up. When ever I pressed a key with a Fn-function (like the key "J" which has a blue "1" on it) the Fn-function was executed instead of the normal activity. When I pressed the same key holding the Fn-button, it executed the normal functionality instead of the Fn-functionality (in case of pressing "J" it should give me "1" but instead I get a "J".) To fix the problem, I turned the NumLock off by pressing Fn + NumLock.
