This laptop works perfectly except for the display. When tested it with Trisquel 5.5 live-cd installed on a USB pendrive, I got a really dim picture even with maximum brightness settings. I used an external display to do the testing and everything else worked fine. That is why I am listing this one as C Silver for now.

Please verify if the screen brightness can be set to usefull level by modifying the /etc/default/grub configuration file to include acpi_osi=Linux parameter on the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line like with Asus Eee PC 1005PE. If it can then this laptop would be A Platinum.
