Description:
I bought this laptop about 3 years ago. Everything works in this laptop except for the Integrated Wireless card, for which I have not found free drivers. There is a proprietary driver available for GNU/Linux but it has some blob in it. All the rest, including the dvd-rw, 3D acceleration with compiz (3D workspace cube rotation), webcam, etc, work well. Overall, I would say it is highly compatible and the battery life is decent when reducing brightness and backlight brightness on battery mode. The manual is available here for more information: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1545/en/index.htm The processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz -- Loic
