Tested with Triskel 12 RC 2 (Trisquel + KDE)

Test date: 21 feb 2026, live USB key. Kernel version 6.8.0-100-generic. To be able to boot the USB key, I had to disable in the BIOS: secure boot.

NOK (Not OK) :

  • Wi-Fi.
  • Bluetooth.
  • Sound from speakers. Fix for Trisquel 12 ?: from terminal type 'sudo pluma /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf' then copy the line 'options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1' then save, exit, reboot. Fix for Triskel 12: from terminal type 'kate /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf' then copy the line 'options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1' then save as admin, exit, reboot.
  • Fingerprint reader ('Enroll result: enroll-disconnected'). To enable it, I did from terminal 'sudo apt-get install fprintd libpam-fprintd' then 'fprintd-enroll'.
  • Port USB Type C.

OK (tested) :

  • Screen resolution (1920x1080).
  • Touchpad or Trackpad.
  • Webcam.
  • FN keys : sound volume.
  • Port USB.
  • Port HDMI.
  • Port Ethernet.
  • Sleep/Resume mode.

Not tested :

  • FN keys : brightness.
