Description:
On ASUS X44C, Trisquel GNU/Linux version 8 "Flidas" works perfectly with WLAN, VGA, and battery. It does not need any proprietary firmware for the WLAN (Atheros) and it's working automatically both in a LiveCD session and a permanently-installed one. It last for 2-3 hours on battery and charging process is normal. 3D gaming using Warzone 2100 (available on Trisquel) also works fine.
