Description:
Works great with trisquel 6.0. A bit old but all basic functionality work, such as libreoffice, and internet surfing. It contains a Pentium M processor, clocked at 1600mhz. By default has 256/512MB ram. Can be upgraded to up to 2GB. WARNING: Bios is very restrictive. No advanced features. You can only change boot order, time, date, and animation, and set various passwords on bios and hardware. Non-working parts: Internal wireless card (I use PCMCIA) Never tested: Firewire (S400, I dont know about it) Dial up Sony proprietory Memory stick Works fine: Sound card and speakers (this laptop has really good ones) USB PCMCIA (I have a PCMCIA wireless card I use) Ethernet (works great with wicd, not tested with NetworkManager) CD drive External VGA Screen
