Was not able to boot Trisquel 8. Black screen. Tried with non-free Linux Mint 19.1 and managed to boot but only had black screen on graphical tty. CLI based ttys worked, so there must be an issue with graphics driver or there is a kernel setting I'm missing.
Not beginner friendly for sure.
