Well, the X11 session starts fine. At the same time, I was not able to change the refresh rate of the display (it is 60 Hz). I didn't check the possibility to use 3D acceleration on this machine. By the way, is there any way to figure out the availability of the "3D feature" apart from installing compiz?

I don't think so.. but I'm now sure about it. If you don't want to check compiz you can choose: "works but without 3d acceleration", and then write a notice inside the description entry to alert that compiz has not been tested
