Yes, it works OK, but I was unable to verify the 3D acceleration part, since I was testing from a Live CD of Trisquel 4.5.1.
IMHO, a more AUTOMATIC script for doing all this tests is needed in Free Software distros, in order to provide unambiguous results. Something like Fedora's smolt, with minimal (if any) user manual input.
My "dream tool" would be an universal i386 CD or USB stick, cross-distro, that I can insert in any machine and provide complete reports to h-node.com with just a few keystrokes. This would allow me to test and report large number of laptops and systems, on "industrial scale" - say, in a computer store or supermarket.
Unfortunately, since I'm not a programmer, I cannot write something like this.
IMHO, having DIFFERENT hardware reporting tools in Fedora, Ubuntu, Trisquel, Debian and linuxcounter is counterproductive and just slows down the adoption of genuine Free Software.
