Hello. It's pretty simple. You just open a terminal window (gnome terminal, konsole, or what have you), become root via "sudo -i" or "sudo su" and run the commands as described in the [a=http://h-node.org/wiki/page/en/Discover-your-hardware]Discover your hardware[/a] page.
