- installation of libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental is needed for proper video acceleration; after that any nouveau lock-ups occur no more

* weird thing is that my model NP-R580-JS01CZ which comes in configuration with Intel Core i3 processor, does not offer you integrated Intel GMA HD graphics (you can neither enable/disable it in BIOS - missing option, nor it is listed by lspci)
