As part of the free software projects I'm working on, I am developing a Free MBOX Viewer. This lightweight utility allows users to easily open, read, and preview MBOX files from platforms like Thunderbird or Gmail without needing the original email client installed. It maintains the internal folder structure and ensures a secure, seamless way to access legacy data.
