After 11 years of using just about every Linux there is I finally decided to take the plunge and try an FSF recommended distro. I was amazed to discover that everything on both my desktop and laptop worked perfectly 'out of the box'. Not only that, more or less my entire collection of films, documentaries and music also worked (I was expecting the opposite).
