There should be a list of allowed distros. I don't see one, perhaps that's because I'm not allowing JavaScript?

Hello lembas, you have to enable Javascript. See also
here. You can use trisquel_3_5 or trisquel_4_0 (those strings will be accepted)

Actually, I should add a string in order to inform the user that Javascript is necessary..

It works without JS if you know the code string. Perhaps you could include a HTML noscript element that would be a link to the list of accepted strings.
Some people (like me) just feel more comfortable without JS and some mobile devices don't support JS.
