Thanks for the report - I can reproduce it. A quick grep shows that 8087 is recorded https://git.savannah.nongnu.org/cgit/h-source.git/tree/Application/Include/vendors.php?h=h-node#n4165 BTW what interface are you trying to change to? Judging from the "Detailed Information" section on page <https://h-node.org/bluetooth/view/en/2046> it looks like USB is the correct interface, no?

I could reproduce this error on the staging server at staging.h-node.org just with about any vendor id, including 1022 which had an insertion in November: https://h-node.org/soundcards/history/en/2256/1/1/undef/undef/undef/undef/sound-card-works/undef Will take another look tomorrow.

OK, so the code does not look into vendors.php, but instead queries the db for the vendor id (see commit 7097598d5576ba5e9391b43f26bfc037c08d61c3). The staging vendor table was empty, which is why I couldn't create any device with a vendor id. So the problem is reduced to modifying an entry. Am I right in saying that you encountered the problem when trying to change the interface from usb to pci?
