A file can be created inside /etc/modprobe.d to set parport_pc options at each boot. My Symbios Logic 2P0S (2 port parallel adaptor) takes the following options to work correctly on my machine:
etc/modprobe.d/01-MCS98XX.CONF: options parport_pc io=0x378,0xc050,0xc030 irq=4,18,18
