Following information applies to Ethernet controller tested in 2024 under Debian 12.2 bookworm, with kernel 6.1.0-15-amd64, advertised as "PCI-E&USB Network Adapter" and based on RTL8111C chipset.

The adapter is advertised to be 10/100/1000 Mbps, but [b]only works at 100 Mbps[/b] with r8169 driver (as of December 2023)!

As advertised on the box, this no-name adapter uses the [b]Realtek RTL8111C[/b] chipset.
