This is a dual-band wifi USB adapter with a large antenna and activity indicator LED. Please note that the vendor id on this page 10ec is copied from another TP-Link branded product on H-Node, as a temporary workaround since the actual vendor ID returned by lsusb is not yet in H-Node's database. The status of Realtek's driver for this product is unclear, but it seems likely that it is not actively maintained. The Aircrack-ng project has created a working driver based on Realtek's driver for this product. As of spring 2021 this project appears to be actively maintained. On Guix, the Aircrack-ng driver is available as the package rtl8812au-aircrack-ng-linux-module. The source code may be found here: https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au Using the Aircrack-ng driver, the device has worked on linux-libre kernel version 5.11 and several earlier 5.x kernels.
