Non-free Firmware Required
Like most Radeon graphics devices released since the mid to late 2000s, this GPU requires non-free firmware to enable accelerated graphics. Power management (suspend and hibernate) may not work without the firmware. On some mobile devices, screen backlight controls may also fail to work.
