video card model:
Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) (works with 3D acceleration)
Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01) (it works)
(there is no webcam)
Trisquel includes a free driver for the Broadcom wireless device that works well under most circumstances. It has occasional issues of disconnecting when there is heavy network activity, and frequently disconnects from a PEAP-authenticated WPA wireless connection that I use sometimes, but it is a miniscule price to pay for software freedom. Everything else works great, including Suspending to RAM and Hibernation.
I tried replacing the WiFi card with one from Atheros, but the BIOS prevented the system from booting when the Atheros card was plugged in.
