You can't install wifi cards not-approved by the vendor: The wifi card has a proprietary connector.
[Installing the free OS]
Once you install your free OS, it will not boot... To fix that you need to copy /boot/efi/EFI/debian/grubx64.efi to EFI/boot/bootx64.efi (replace "Debian" with the name of your distro).
To boot your free OS: Boot your machine with the Option key (alt) down to invoke the Startup Manager and choose the volume you want to boot.
To boot your free OS by default: Boot your machine with the Option key (alt) down to invoke the Startup Manager, then hold down the Ctrl key prior to clicking on a volume to boot.
