It seems the wired ethernet PHY is not usable on my X200, and asking in #guix others have reported the same. Reportedly it works from a live environment such as the Guix installation image. I see in dmesg: [ 139.255617] e1000e 0000:00:19.0 enp0s25: NIC Link is Down [ 141.592380] e1000e 0000:00:19.0 enp0s25: NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: Rx/Tx And then it will cycle between these states and is mostly unusable. I've tried kernels as old as 5.8 to as new as 6.3, and the problem remains unchanged. Some avenues to explore: - Does it really work from a live environment, and if so, what is the difference there compared to an installed system? - Does it work with GNU Boot ? (some people reported on Arch forums that it would work better for them when using coreboot).
